Success Story
"While attending my first Breast Cancer Action town meeting, I witnessed a passionate and dedicated group of women, truth seekers, and activists who were moving forward with arms raised and fighting what seemed to be the impossible fight.
A year later, my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 36. It was then that BCA came back into my life as I turned to it for support during what would be the darkest and most frightening time of my life. Eight years later I am here and currently cancer free.
When I get a call from someone who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer I urge them to contact BCA and to go to BCA's web site for the most current information and news about the disease. I am eternally grateful to BCA for their vigilance. It is a luxury for me to be able to go through my life knowing BCA is there doing what they do. As a survivor and breast cancer advocate, I urge you to contribute so BCA may continue fighting the fight."
With respect,
