The following statement is from a Senior Deputy District Attorney that we partner with.

“Guardian Group's ability to gather open-source intelligence to identify victims and traffickers has resulted in successful investigations and prosecutions in my county while allowing our service providers on the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to connect and help save these survivors. In 2016 to 2018, our law enforcement agencies identified and provided services to 109 survivors while prosecuting 30 traffickers. The successful identification, investigation, and prosecution of at least half of these cases was the result of information and assistance from the Guardian Group.

One such example includes a young woman who was trafficked by a dangerous offender with a history of violence. The Guardian Group found her posting online and referred the information to our location Sheriff’s office to investigate. A successful mission allowed us to prosecute this trafficker and connect with the victim; but a short while after a grand jury issued an indictment our victim disappeared. We heard through various sources that she was moved to another state by another trafficker connected to our defendant. We feared for her life, but we could not locate her whereabouts. My office reached out to the Guardian Group for help. Within forty-eight hours, the group found her in California. Our law enforcement was able to connect with their counterparts down south to confirm her location and that she had a new trafficker. We were able to bring her back to Oregon and reunite the victim with her family. The Guardian Group found her not once, but twice, allowing us to rescue her from the life.”
