Success Story
We want to share a letter we received recently from a client who received reduced cost help through our Stop Cervical Cancer program. She had a bad outcome from her Pap test, and needed urgent health care to stop the high-grade dysplasia cells that were growing on her cervix.
I'm so grateful, she writes. I feel especially lucky that you were my doctor. Your caring really touched me. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to express my gratitude on the day of the procedure (LEEP - Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure - treatment to stop the progression of cervical cancer). I was missing my mom intensely, but you were the best substitute I could have hoped for. I just want you to know how much your kindness and excellent care meant to me. Thank you for all that you've done for me.
She is thanking the physician who performed the procedure. She is thanking the clinic staff who helped her that day. And yes, she is thanking Planned Parenthood in general.
