About
The LA Regional Food Bank mobilizes resources to fight hunger in our community. Every $1 donated provides the equivalent of 4 meals. We have programs that help children, seniors and families receive food, learn about nutrition and apply for CalFresh.

The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank has been fighting hunger since 1973. Hundreds of charitable agencies in Los Angeles County rely on the Foodbank to provide food for those in need every day. Our mission is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community.
We serve 875 charitable agency sites throughout Los Angeles County, providing food for abused and abandoned children, battered women, the disabled, the elderly, the homeless, and working families. We provide enough food to feed 674,000 people each year. We keep our member agencies up-to-date on anti-hunger issues and provide services like nutrition workshops and fund raising assistance.
The Foodbank's programs are diverse. We provide meals for at-risk children through our Kids Cafe(TM) and BackPack programs. We also target seniors through our Brown Bag program and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
