Zimbabwe is a country that was once referred to as "The breadbasket" of Africa because the local farms provided most of the food for the continent. The country has suffered extreme economic challenges. 

These challenges have resulted in a high out of school rate in many areas.  Many children that have been in school are unable to read.  Our After School Program has been able to come alongside these children and help them reach grade level in reading, learn mathematics and provide encouragement and hope for a better future.  The local school has requested that we assist them with our tablet based lessons since many classes have an 80 to 1 student to teacher ratio.  We are looking at the requirements to start an Early Childhood Development Program to ensure children under five receive cognitive stimulation and emotional suppport they need to thrive in their critical early years.

Medical care is almost non-existent in the country, especially for the poor in rural areas.  In 2023, we were able to purchase a mobile medical clinic. The clinic has travelled to both remote and more developed areas to provide medical treatment. Our mobile clinic team is driven by a deep commitment to serve anyone who needs help.  We deliver healthcare, hope and compassion to communities that might otherwise be overlooked. The clinic has treated pneumonia, asthma, wounds, infections, dewormed children, vaccinated children and provided check-ups for pregnant mothers to ensure they are getting the proper nutrients as well as their baby.  The clinic will also check the baby and mother after delivery, if possible.
