Success Story

My name is Keshia Phillip. I participated in an Enchanted Closet event as a high school student. I truly did enjoy myself at the event. I was a bit embarrassed at first because my family could not afford to purchase me a new dress, but once I arrived to the dress giveaway I felt less embarrassed once I had realized that I was not the only young lady in that situation. I felt more pleased when I read the Enchanted Closet's mission statement because this program was created to help young ladies like me. 

All of the volunteers were so kind, generous, and very truthful not only to me but to all the young ladies that attended. I will always remember this event because I felt like a princess. The dresses were really beautiful and I was so excited because there were so many dresses in all different colors, sizes, lengths, and styles to choose from. At the end of my shopping experience I was more than prepared for prom because I had a prom dress that I loved and make-up, accessories, and shoes to go with it. 

I seriously enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to come back to the Enchanted Closet as a volunteer!"
