Sharing surplus. Saving lives. Supporting public health improvement programs in resource-poor communities. Preserving the environment through reuse, not disposal, of surplus medical materials.
Real LifeWhat does mobility mean to you?
It means going to work or school, visiting with friends and family, and taking part in your community.
Working with hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic region and the Pittsburgh community, Global Links collects walkers, crutches, canes, wheelchairs and shower benches, and delivers them to people in need. We work in low-resource countries such as Haiti where mobility aid are often scarce. We also work in communities in Western Pennsylvania to support human service agencies serving uninsured and underinsured individual who can't afford to purchase these materials.
You support of Global Links helps to ensure that still-useful medical materials, especially mobility aids, are kept from landfills and delivered to people who desperately need them both at home and abroad.
To us, mobility means ABILITY. Thank you for making our work possible.
