Dreams do come true. Enhance the quality of life for terminally ill adults and their families, give peace and resolution by granting a final dream.
Luis, just 18 years old, from El Paso, Texas was losing his battle with Duchenne's disease. As Luis' strength waned his world narrowed to just one room. To pass the long, lonely hours this once lively, energetic young man, turned to music. Luis' mother wrote to Dream Foundation and said. "To fill that room with music is a dream that Luis could not even have imagined before he heard about your organization". When we received his request we contacted Dream Foundation supporters in the music industry for help. They responded beyond our wildest dreams. For weeks Luis received daily packages brimming with CD's, some signed by the artists. The generosity included posters, an iPod, iTunes, a guitar, a keyboard and a hard drive. Luis, confined to his room - was no longer alone.
