Real Life

Donnč Allen participated in PEP's scholarship program to take a PEP I: Parenting 5 to 12 Year Olds class. Says Donnč, "I sought out assistance from PEP at a critical time: we just had twins, our oldest son was almost five, and I needed help in coping with it all! Our household budget didn't have room for extras like taking a PEP class, and I was so grateful to learn that PEP offered scholarships. And am I glad that I applied! In the class, I found like-minded parents with similar issues. Spending time each week to stop, review and analyze my parenting choices and PEP's suggestions became a source of energy for me. Now, I am much more aware of my choices and actions. We have a weekly family meeting, and most of all, my children feel included in the life of our family. Because of PEP, my family has become a more cohesive team."
